Built To Mutate
Submission to the GMTK Game Jam 2024.
Made in 4 days with Godot.
Mutate your creatures to survive past several crises.
Click on amoeba to mutate it.
Right Click to make creatures move to scout flag.
Move camera on WASD. Pause with ESC.
Tips:
- Let your creatures spawn a child before mutating them. This will allow for more diversity.
- If the creature is stuck, try setting/removing the scout flag, by Right Clicking again.
- New mutations open when the crisis timer is expired

I feel like the animals behavior is just random. When picking mutations I'm choosing between descriptions that don't say a lot to me, so I could just pick a random one. There is not much to do, so brace for [anything], for me always just meant "wait".
Yeah, this can barely be called a game. We had an ambitious idea at first, but we severely lacked team management. Thank you for the comment, anyway :)
